results in economics, finance, and public finance to support research activities and
academic exchanges.

Since its first issue in 1996, the Journal of Economic Research (JER), publishedthree times a year,
covers a wide range of topics in economics and financial economics. The journal provides an outlet for publication in
all theoretical and empirical aspects of economics, financial economics, and related areas.

We hold annual joint academic conferences with universities in Japan (Osaka University,
Kobe University), China (Renmin University), and Singapore (NTU) to discuss and study
common issues in East Asia, strengthening our research network and continuing our academic cooperation.
