Specialization of the Research Institute

Research on Economic Integration and Financial Cooperation

In recent years, we have focused its efforts on studying economic
integration and financial cooperation in East Asia. These efforts have
been recognized both domestically and internationally for their
significant research outcomes.

A Study on the Stability of the Financial System

The University of Economics and Finance has also strengthened its
comparative advantage in this field by continuously recruiting new
professors in the field of finance. Therefore, the link between this
institute and the University of Economics and Finance is continuously
expanding and deepening.

International Intellectual Exchange

We are establishing institutional mechanisms to integrate and
coordinate the educational functions of the School of Economics
and Finance and its graduate school in the context of international
finance and economic integration. Additionally, we aim to regularize
international academic conferences on specialized topics related to
regional integration, involving Korea, China, Japan and Singapore.
Through these efforts, our research institute aims to emerge as a
leading center for research on regional economic integration.

Activities of International Academic Conferences

Regular annual academic exchanges between universities in East Asia, with one conference held domestically and one internationally each year.
